107.9 The End – KDND
There are hundreds of apps for radio stations available, but there aren’t many like we built for Sacramento’s 107.9 The End. This is a great radio station, with lots of activities, talent, and most importantly, content to be included in an app.
The main feature of this app is its navigation. It makes a statement that The End isn’t just any radio station. The swiping action allows the user to easily locate what they want, and the audio player contracts so all of the content can be featured on the full screen of the phone.
Want to play music trivia? The app contains 50 different questions that are continually updated so fans of the music can guess about lyrics and other musical areas.
Fans of new music can discover and listen to the latest releases from their favorites artists. Listeners can post pictures of themselves in the app, from concerts, station events, and more. And when they are at concerts, fans can use the unique strobe light, flashing the station’s logo in a variety of colors without needing a Bic lighter.
The End’s app is clearly on the leading edge with great content, design, and functionality.
